Magnetladen is a wholesale and foreign trade company. There are different opening times and daily routines here than in retail.

From 6:30 a.m., craft businesses, dealers, museums and other customers come to us to pick up the magnets they need for the daily construction site, for their business or for their needs. We are therefore limited by telephone after 6:30 a.m.

We can be reached by telephone on weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. At the same time, during this time, packages are packed ready for shipment, orders are processed and many other things. For corporate and private customers, we take time here on site to provide advice regarding their projects.

Parcel services, shipping companies and express drivers deliver goods from around 9:30 a.m. In particular, scheduled and urgent deliveries leave our company on the same day.

We accept orders for same-day delivery until 11:00 a.m. Of course, we will continue to process further orders after this point and these will often be dispatched on the same day. However, we cannot guarantee this.

The daily parcel collection by DHL takes place at 2:00 p.m.

The large shipping deliveries are usually unloaded from midday onwards. If the day has brought a ship delivery, an average of one to four tons of magnets have to be moved - and most of this is done by hand, as machines are only used to a limited extent. The following also applies to moving magnets from A to B: Magnets are, above all, magnetic. Before boxes can be unloaded, they must first be separated. And magnets can only be stacked to a limited extent in the warehouse.

But why do we limit our telephone availability to between 7:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. when daily operations start much earlier and end later?

As customers find out every day, we can also be reached by telephone outside of these hours, as long as daily business allows this. However, we have decided to create a core time in which we can reliably guarantee on all lines that we take time for sometimes intensive advice. And during this time you are guaranteed to reach those employees who can give you competent and expert advice, who can draw on many years of experience, who have specialized in the different requirements of industrial customers, schools, tradesmen, etc.

In online retail, customers are used to very extensive opening times and availability, especially from large online retailers. We are not primarily an online retailer, but rather an owner-managed medium-sized company that extends far beyond online trading. We cannot promise you that we will make everything possible for everyone at all times. But what we promise you - namely expert, competent, targeted advice, personal discussions - we also keep. And the prompt delivery that customers now value so much is also reliably possible thanks to these time windows.

 And what about in-company pickups? Why is there this time limit here too?

Since we are not part of the retail sector, we do not have a shop. Collection and advice on site as well as public access in our company not only means that an employee takes time, but also requires that various work in the company is not possible during this time. Magnets are dangerous goods and when there is public traffic in our rooms, other work must be stopped. Nevertheless, unlike other companies, we want to enable personal pickup on site.
